The "Ultimate Gift"

A while back I mentioned that ya'll should entire a contest to win a copy of The Ultimate Gift.

Well, I won it. : )

I watched it this weekend and I must say I have bit of a mixed review.

First of all, it wasn't a totally bad movie.

It's just that...it was a bit slow.

You could have a conversation, look at a photo-album, paint your nails...and watch the movie all at the same time. I know this, because that is what I did.

This is not to say that I didn't enjoy it.

There was a meditative quality about it that doesn't come across in many other movies. Each scene focused on the specific emotion that each character was experiencing. Great care was taken to show the nuances of transformation as they occured.

So should you watch it? Yeah, I think you should. I was expecting something slightly faster paced, but regardless of that draw back, I'd say it was a satisfying movie.
