I signed the petition, but then I went one step further. I sent an email to the magazine at cosmo@hearst.com
The letter is pasted below. Thanks Elizabeth for brining this to our attention!

"I just signed a petition to remove Cosmo magazine from CVS stores, but then I thought about it and had my concerns that other retail outlets also have this semi-pornographic magazine in plain view at their checkout counters.
So, I knew if I really cared about my children's innocence, as well as my own dignity as a woman, then I needed to contact you directly and tell you I am furious that this type of degrading, indecent material is allowed by you and the retail stores to be presented in plain view of unsuspecting, innocent customers. It seems that no one is safe from this perversion.
Obviously, if people want to read this type of material, they have the right to. I am not going to demand that the magazine be pulled from the shelves. But, at least wrap it in the same brown paper as the other sexually explicit magazines, or place it far out of view and reach. That is the least you can do."
